Data Management Plan

The energy transition goes hand in hand with a digital transition. With the Data Management Plan , we set out how we can safely, reliably and efficiently manage and use energy data over the next ten years to make the energy system work smarter.digital meters, grid measurements and data platforms are providing more and more insights needed to support renewable energy, flexibility and active customers.

The Data Management Plan Management Plan complements the investment plan for the energy networks. Where physicalinfrastructure enables electrification, provides data management for insight, control and new forms of services.

We invest in high-performance data systems, transparent data exchange and robust cybersecurity. In this way, energy data creates added value for customers, market parties and society, today and in the future.

Flexibility

Flexibility also plays a key role in the energy transition. The growth of renewable energy, electrification and local production are placing heavier and more erratic burdens on the electricity grid. That is why we temporarily adjust consumption, production and storage to the available grid capacity, so that the energy system remains in balance.

We use flexibility as a complement to grid reinforcement. Wherewe invest in infrastructure. Where possible, we use flexibility to limit peaks, avoid congestion and enable faster connections. We facilitate flexibility services for customers and market parties, and use flexibility specifically for the management of the distribution network. This yields maximum social return: it helps to improve the energy transition efficlient, reliable and affordable.
