Both the environment in which we operate and our mission, vision, strategy and values determine how we shape our sustainability strategy.
We are fully committed to the energy transition and climate adaptation in Flanders – our ‘handprint’. In this way, we enable climate neutrality for our customers whilst reducing our own ‘footprint’. As the majority of our impact lies within the value chain, we work together with suppliers, contractors, service providers and customers towards a more sustainable future. At the same time, we are strengthening our resilience to challenges such as climate change, supply chain vulnerabilities and cybersecurity, and we are fulfilling our social responsibility as an employer towards our own staff and towards workers throughout the value chain. We have grouped all of this into four sustainability themes: climate and environment, social impact, good governance and networks for tomorrow.
