Digital Meter Data Insights
Data from digital meters is an important building block of the energy transition. Thanks to digital meters, we get a detailed and up-to-date picture of energy consumption and production, both at the local and Flemish level. These insights help us to manage our networks in a more targeted manner, to better substantiate investments and to respond more quickly to changing usage patterns by electrificatand renewable energy.
At the same time, data from digital meters give customers and market parties more opportunities to use energy more consciously. Transparent and secure data services give users more insight into their consumption. They can shift energy use to sustainable moments and thus actively participate in flexibility and new energy services.
We manage and share thethey data in a neutral, secure and privacy-conscious way. In this way, we contribute to a smarter, more efficient and future-oriented energy system for everyone.
